SCIENCE & U!, the NY Emmy®-nominated science magazine series, reports on Science and Infertility, premiering Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 8am, 2pm and 8pm (repeating Saturday 2/1 at 5:30pm) on CUNY TV and www.cuny.tv. Host of the broadcast and one of its correspondents is Tinabeth Piña, who shares her own dramatic treatment history with viewers.
The all-new broadcast features interviews with individuals and couples challenged by infertility issues who generously disclose their experience and accumulated wisdom; information on assisted reproductive technologies – as well as other options and therapies – currently available; and the risks and rewards of fertility treatment.
Medical experts interviewed are Reproductive Endocrinologists Glenn L. Schattman, MD of New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and Cristina Matera, MD of Manhattan’s Madison Women’s Health & Fertility; Drs. Richard Scott and Paul Bergh of Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey; and acupuncturist Angela Le of Fifth Avenue Fertility.
In addition to Tinabeth Piña, this month’s Science & U! correspondents are Andrew Falzon, Dr. Max Gomez, Donna Hanover, and Carol Anne Riddell.
